Rain did not allow us to ring a lot. The few birds we caught when weather allowed it, were ringed in the car. We got though our first Nightingale Luscinia megarhynchos and, Collared Flycatcher Ficedula albicolis for this season.

Two new species
Bad weather prevented us from ringing today! Yesterday even though we did not have too many birds we added two new species to the ringing list of Antikythera Bird Observatory(http://www.ornithologiki.gr/en/osa/ringing_list.php). The Hawfinch Coccothraustes coccothraustes and the Greater Short-toed Lark Calandrella brachydactyla, which you can see from the pictures made us all happy!
