Day 12 of ringing camp. 109 birds!

Today, 14 september, we have made the record of birds catch: 109! There some new entries, Turtle dove (Streptopelia turtur), Tree pipit (Anthus trivialis) and yesterday Reed warbler (Acrocephalus scirpaceus) and Cetti’s warbler (Cettia cetti). Day 7 of ringing – New volunteers from Greece and Austria

Today four new volunteers are arrived into the ringing camp!, three from Greece (Kostis, Demetris and Theo) and one from Austria (Barbara). We trapped about 30 birds. Day 3 of ringing

Today 24 birds ringed, one Golden oriolus (Oriolus oriolus), one Red-backed shrike (Lanius collurio), one Wheatear (Oenanthe oenanthe), the first Lesser withethroat  (Sylvia curruca), many Garden warblers (Sylvia borin), the most common bird in these days, and then Icternine warbler (Hippolais icterina), Collared flycatcher (Ficedula albicollis), and Willow warbler (Phylloscopus trochilus).
