Spring 2017, Day 4 of bird ringing
Had to close the nets earlier due to rain but had some nice species! European Robin (Erithacus rubecula, Κοκκινολαίμης) was the most common species. Daily totas and species at: http://www.trektellen.nl/count/view/1696/20170329

Spring 2017, D3 of bird ringing. Nets remained closed due to rain and strong winds! Eager for tomorrow!

Spring 2017, Day 2 of bird ringing
The wind slowed down for a while and that was evident tin the ringing totals. In total 59 birds of 11 species with the Subalpine Warbler (Sylvia cantillans, Κοκκινοτσιροβάκος) being the most abundant species ringed and seen in the filed. Spring 2017, Day 1 of bird ringing
Quite windy today and chilly today despite the worm and sunny day yesterday. Mostly winter birds around with the Common Chiffchaff (Phylloscopus collybita, Δεντροφυλλοσκόπος) being the most common species. In total we got 21 birds of 9 Species. More info here
