Blue-cheeked Bee-eater!
A Blue-cheeked Bee-eater (Merops persicus, Πράσινος Μελισσοφάγος) appeared today over the ringing valley making us all happy. The last years we have regularly one observation per spring season of the species while in the past we even had one trapped! Let’s hope that the strong winds will not let depart tonight and that it will trapped tomorrow.
