Some more old friends / day 57 of ringing

A small trap today as well as the wind did not let as ring for long. Dy the time we had to close nets we had ringed little bit more that 50 birds. As yesterday today we had the reappearance of some species that should have passed and already have started breeding as  Pied Flycatcher (Ficedula hypoleuca, Μαυρομυγοχάφτης) and the Whinchat (Saxicola rubetra, Καστανολαίμης). The Blue-cheeked Bee-eater (Merops persicus, Πράσινος Μελισσοφάγος) was still there in the early morning but did not visit our nets.

Other species trapped today:

Sand Martin (Riparia riparia, Οχθοχελίδονο), Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica, Σταβλοχελίδονο), Common House Martin (Delichon urbicum, Λευκοχελίδονο), Reed Warbler (Acrocephalus scirpaceus, Καλαμοποταμίδα), Great Reed Warbler (Acrocephalus arundinaceus, Τσιχλοποταμίδα), Icterine Warbler (Hippolais icterina, Κιτρινοστριτσίδα), Garden Warbler (Sylvia borin, Κηποτσιροβάκος), Wood Warbler (Phylloscopus sibilatrix, Δασοφυλλοσκόπος), Spotted Flycatcher (Muscicapa striata, Σταχτομυγοχάφτης), Spanish Sparrow (Passer hispaniolensis, Χωραφοσπουργίτης), Whitethroat (Sylvia communis, Θαμνοτσιροβάκος), Nightjar (Caprimulgus europaeus,  Γιδοβύζι), Redstart (Phoenicurus phoenicurus, Φοινίκουρος), Eastern Olivaceous Warbler (Hippolais pallida, Ωχροστριτσίδα)
