An Antikythirian bird in Hungary!

A Sand Martin (Riparia riparia, Οχθοχελίδονο) that was initially ringed during the spring season of 2013 was controlled some during the dreading season in Hungary. Our colleague, Tibor Szép who retrapped the bird said that the birds most probably had some difficulties during dreading, as it was found in a colony that was formed relatively late (end of May), despite the fact that it arrived early to Europe.

It is worthwhile to mention that this is not the first bird from ABO (and hopefully not the last) Tibor has control!
