img_3197.jpg An other Common Kestrel (Falco tinnunculus, Βραχοκιρκίνεζο) in our nets today made our day a little more interested as we do not really have a close look at them too often. As usual the last few day the most abundant species is the Garden Warbler (Sylvia borin, Κηποτσιροβάκος).Other species trapped today are (In total around 120 birds):European Turtle Dove (Streptopelia turtur, Τρυγόνι), Eurasian Hoopoe (Upupa epops, Τσαλαπετεινός), Sedge Warbler (Acrocephalus schoenobaenus, Σχοινοποταμίδα), Great Reed Warbler (Acrocephalus arundinaceus, Τσιχλοποταμίδα), a European Turtle Dove (Streptopelia turtur, Τρυγόνι), Eurasian Golden Oriole (Oriolus oriolus, Συκοφάγος), spotted Flycatcher (Muscicapa striata, Σταχτομυγοχάφτης), Collared Flycatcher (Ficedula albicollis, Κρικομυγοχάφτης) and  Woodchat Shrike (Lanius senator, Κοκκινοκεφαλάς).   img_3220.jpg
